Countywide CTC Forum Development Meeting

Present: Rana Watterson, Kathryn Spurlock, Terry Kenworthy

Terry stated that today’s meeting is to establish a task force to help develop the goals and objectives of the Countywide CTC forum, set a date, and identify key leaders.

It was agreed that approximately 20-25 people should be invited with mobilizer attendance. Two representatives from each CTC group along with representation from county serving agencies should be in attendance. Representatives including: Family Services of West Chester (Burrows); Mary Gaspari, Carol Hensen, Pay Yoder, Grace Cesik, Dana Strode, Nelly Warner/Susan Swanson, BBBS representative, Levi Wingard, State Police Representative would be invited.

Recruitment to participate will be through personal invitation by mobilizer or community prevention staff with a follow up formal invitation.

Kathryn suggested that Maggie be contacted to discuss the mission, goals, and outcomes of the Buck County Consortium and to find out what the first meeting “looked like” in the development of the Consortium. Kathryn will make contact with Maggie and see if she will be available for phone conference next Tuesday AM @ 9:30 AM.

Kathryn will also plan to attend the Chester CTC meeting to see structure, mission and goals of that group. Terry will ask Doreen to attend as well.

Terry shared with Rana that chairing this forum will be part of her new position.

Terry will e-mail mobilizers to “save the date” and request attendance, schedule room for meeting, develop invitation, and assign staff to contact individuals for participation.

Next meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 4th 2003 at 9:30 AM. Meeting will be to discuss agenda and format of facilitation.
